Spend Less Time On WORC Vs. Other Online Job Boards & Referral Agencies
You do not have to sign-up for an account or spend time posting your open positions online - WORC takes care of everything. This is how WORC works:
- Job Description Intake: The client can either email WORC their job descriptions (all formats accepted, MS Word preferred) or email WORC the URL where their job descriptions are posted. WORC will upload all jobs onto our WORC Job Board.
- Weekly Distribution: WORC will distribute the job descriptions to our network of 608 workforce development professionals who serve a population of 28,000+ low-income individuals.
- Screening & Referral Process: All interested candidates will send their resumes to WORC and we will pre-screen based on the employer’s requirements. For those applications that pass our pre-screening process, WORC will have the job seekers apply on the employer’s website and at the same time WORC will send the employer the candidate’s resume directly (stating that they passed our screening and are worthy of review).
- WORC - An Affordable Employee Referral Solution: WORC’s job posting and pre-screening services are FREE. Should you hire one of our referrals, then we request a $200 placement fee upon completion of the candidate’s first day of work. The fee covers our job placement expenses. Should an employer hire several of our referrals, we can discuss alternate fee structures to limit their expenses.
